Student Mentor Program Background
The Student Mentor Program was iniaited in 2009 due to the increase in student participation along with the addition of student activities. Mentors volunteer to be available during the conference for students if they have questions or need help navigating the conference or even to introduce them to some other industry personnel. This is a great way to get students more involved and possibly help them in acquiring jobs/internship opportunities through the industry or just a better knowledge of the industry overall.
