 Student Outreach Program

A new Student Outreach Program is being developed by a combination of three committees within PMCA. The program will begin during PMCA’s Centennial Year and initial activities took place during the 2007 Annual Production Conference in Hershey, PA.
The first phase of the program allowed for a select number of students, from educational institutions with top Food Science and related programs, to be invited to attend the conference. The students were recognized during the Monday evening dinner, received a copy of the “Back to Basics” training series book (2000-2006) and had the opportunity to network with a variety of company personnel to gain knowledge of the industry and investigate career opportunities.
