 Research and Scholarships

The Research Committee oversees one of PMCA's core areas. From the scholarship programs, specialized fellowships and research grants to technical research symposiums, the committee promotes basic and applied scientific research in the science of chocolate and confectionery. It is also closely tied to several leading universities.


Scholarship opportunities involve undergraduate scholarships from the American Association of Candy Technologies (AACT) for students attending Drexel University, University of Georgia and University of Wisconsin-Madison as well as the PMCA graduate fellowship offered at Pennsylvania State University
